The drawings and paintings used on the pillows are all originals by Middy Thomas, a local Maine artist. This painting of "orchids" was printed on to cotton-linen fabric (by Spoonflower), free motion quilted, and pillow made by local Maine sewist Sally Hipsher. Each one is individually made and no two are exactly alike. The back of the pillow is an off white cotton linen blend with matching piping. Most are 18 X 18 square pillows with zippers so the insert can be removed and pillow cover can be washed if necessary. Wash gently in cold water, hang to dry and press for a refreshed look. The pillow insert is an additional $12.00 plus shipping.
